Alice's Adventure in Wonderland

Personal Reflection:

     When I was in elementary school, I read Alice's Adventure in Wonderland for the first time. Actually, I considered it very interesting because magic exists in wonderland. For example, Alice drinks potion, and then her body becomes larger and taller. For me at that time, I only thought that the content of this book was like movie plots, which was innovative. However, I read Alice's Adventure in Wonderland again, and I found that it had not only interesting content but also interesting meanings. For example, in chapter nine, the reeling is play on words, and the true meaning is reading. The author intends to use play on words to tease the education at that time. Everyone may resonate from play on words, and can't help laughing. The reason I laugh at is not that the subjects in school is awful. I strongly agree that these subjects like math and Chinese have many benefits like enriching our basic ability. With these basic abilities, we can further learn skills like expressing our ideas. Nonetheless, sometimes the educational system stresses on the correct answer, and make some students dislike studying because they have their own ideas about the question.

     Although the whole adventure in wonderland sometimes seems unreasonable, it still has big influences on Alice. I think that those difficulties and unreasonable things make Alice become more mature. What's more, I reckon that everyone is just like Alice. Take students for example, when they enter their school and meet their classmates for the first time, they may feel uncomfortable because they are unfamiliar with this new place, just like wonderland for Alice. Then, when students begin studying in class, they have to adapt themselves to rules their school and teachers establish just like the society in wonderland for Alice. Therefore, with these similarities with Alice, we can further resonate from Alice, and realize her feelings in wonderland. I think that Alice's Adventure in Wonderland is suitable for everyone to read.
